Mid-Valley Hospital & Clinic is running Oracle Health, Redde Payments side by side. Every one of those speaks a different dialect of HL7/FHIR/X12 — which means someone on staff is today doing by hand (or not doing at all) what Vorro does automatically: keeping one patient's record consistent everywhere it needs to show up. On top of that, Mid-Valley Hospital & Clinic already runs Cerner HealtheIntent to try to bridge some of these systems — a sign the integration burden is already visible to their own team, not just to us. Public materials are largely silent on backend IT/interoperability infrastructure — for a small critical-access hospital this typically means the Cerner CommunityWorks bundled model is used largely as-is, a good discovery-call question rather than a documented pain point. 2024 DOJ enforcement action ($15,000 penalty) over a nurse's opioid diversion — a concrete medication-dispensing/diversion-monitoring control gap.
